Project Requirements
Steve Wynn's vision for the Beau Rivage Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi was to create a dramatic tree-lined entrance reminiscent of the grand entrances of southern plantations. Environmental Design was called in to locate and transplant the trees necessary to achieve the vision.
Project Process
Environmental Design located 22 matched Live Oaks (Quercus virginiana) within a 100-mile radius of the resort that met the exacting specifications -30' tall with a 30' spread and a 24" trunk caliper. Trees were root pruned, harvested, transported, and planted along the resort's grand entrance.
